About Us

We believe in the one true and living GOD as revealed in the Bible and the Holy Trinity or Godhead by the name of The Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. I John 5:7

We believe that the Old and New Testament scriptures as recorded in the King James translation of 1611 to be the written and revealed word of God, and are the only rules of faith and practice. II Tim. 3:16; II Pet. 1:20-21.

We believe that God created the Heaven and the Earth and all things therein, according to the account given in Genesis, and that it is to be accepted literally. Gen. 1:1; Col. 1:16-17; Rev. 4:11.

We believe that God made man of the dust of the earth and that He made him good.  That man was created in innocence under the law of his Maker and that man transgressed the law and fell from his sinless and happy state and lost his righteousness. Gen. 1:27, 2:7, 2:16-17, 3:6-23.

We believe in the total depravity of man that he was unable to redeem himself from the fallen state that he was in. Therefore, Jesus the Saviour is necessary for man's redemption. Gen. 3:24; Rom. 5:9-19.

We believe that God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. And He is the propitiation for our sins, not for ours only, but for the sins of the whole world. St. John 3:16; 1 John 2:2

We believe that sinners are justified by faith and saved by grace. Eph. 2:8; Rom. 5:1-2

We believe that the gospel is the only means that God has ordained by which sinners are brought to Christ, and He has commanded that we go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature." As my Father has sent me, even so, send I you." John 20:21; Matt. 28;18-20; Rom. 10:13-15; Acts 1:8; St. Mark 16:15; 1 Cor.1:21-24.

We believe that he that believeth in the Son of God hath the witness in himself. 1 John 5:10

We believe that baptism, the Lord's Supper, and feet washing are ordinances of Jesus Christ given to the church by example and command for us to observe until He comes again. Matt.28:19; John 13; 1 Cor. 11: 23-26; 1 Timothy 5:9-10.

We believe and practice that the only scriptural mode for baptism is by immersion of the whole body in water, in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Ghost, and that believers are the only fit subjects for baptism. Rom. 6:4;  Col. 2:12; Matt.28:19.

We believe that all saints will persevere through grace to glory and never fall away. St. John 10:28-29; Eph. 1:13-14; 1 Peter 1:5.

We believe in election by grace according to the foreknowledge of God and the sanctification of the Spirit through the belief of the truth. God's electing grace hath appeared to all men; the blessings of salvation are made free to all by the gospel; it is the duty of all to accept them. Nothing prevents the salvation of the greatest sinner on earth but his own voluntary rejection of Christ, when He is offered to us by Him, the Holy Spirit in His convicting, revealing and drawing power. 1 Peter 1:2-3.

We believe that the church is the light of the world and is made manifest by keeping  the commandments and examples of Jesus Christ, who is the head of the church in all things. Matt. 5:14; Eph. 1:22-23.

We believe that God chooses, calls, and qualifies those whom He would have to preach the gospel, and God has promised temporal support of his ministers. Rom. 10:14-15;  1 Cor. 1:25-29; 1 Cor. 9:7-11.

We believe and practice in a restricted communion confined to the church in fellowship walking in light and observing  gospel order. 1 Cor. 5:11-12; John 13; 1 Cor. 11:31-32.

We believe and practice in an orderly procedure for the communion service as follows, 1 Cor. 11:23-24; and John 13, the Moderator shall call the church to seat in order with members of the sister churches, by seating the men in one place and the women in another, as may be convenient.

We believe that Christ is the only lawgiver in Zion and that the New Testament scripture is perfect, a thorough furnisher to the man of God, unto all good works. James 4:12; II Timothy 3:16.

We believe that God hath appointed a day in which he will judge the world in righteousness by His Son Jesus Christ, and that this day will be after the death of the body. Heb. 9:27; Acts 17:31; St. John 5:22.

We believe that there will be two resurrections of the dead, one of the just and another of the unjust, and also that these acts of God will be connected with the glorious appearing of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ the second time, bodily from heaven according to Daniel 12:2; St. John 5:28&29; Acts 24:15; 1 Cor.15:23; Phil. 3:20-21; 1 Thes. 4:15-17; Rev. 20:5-6.

We believe that the punishment of the wicked is everlasting, and the joys of the righteous are eternal. St. Matthew 25:46.

We believe in the virgin birth of Jesus Christ; that He is the only begotten Son of God, begotten of the Holy Ghost in a miraculous manner; born of Mary, a virgin, as no other man was or can ever be born of a woman. Gen. 3:15; Isa. 7:14; Matt. 1:18-25; Luke 1:35; Mark 1:1; John 1:4; Psa. 2:7; Gal. 4:4; 1John 5:20; 1Cor. 15:47.

ABORTION. We believe that the practice of abortion is sinful in that the unborn fetus is a living soul and that aborting the fetus constitutes murder. Jeremiah 1:5

ILLEGAL DRUGS AND ALCOHOL. We are opposed to the use of illegal drugs and alcoholic beverages. Proverbs 20:1

HOMOSEXUALITY. We believe the act of or practice of homosexuality to be a damnable sin and that the judgment of God will come upon those who indulge in this act.

ILLICIT SEX. We believe that sexual relations outside the bonds of holy wedlock are ungodly and contrary to the purposes of God's plan for mankind.
